Sometimes you need a little motivation in your life. Sometimes, that motivation can only be found in the darkest of situations. It’s ironic, but it’s true. You don’t truly understand all the life quotes and sayings until a certain event occurs. I haven’t had any “bad stuff” in my life, but through the story of others, I’m able to understand some. I understand enough to change my perspective on life.

When I didn’t make the basketball team, I thought I would’ve just worked harder, and played harder for the love of the game. That didn’t happen. That thought skipped over my mind. I didn’t realize that I slowly became unmotivated, and even lazy. Before all of that, I had worked so hard to get myself out of the slump I was in. But then I had just repeated that cycle, and had fallen back into that slump. Right now, I’m prepared to get out, or even crawl out of that slump, and stay out of it. Let’s go bitches.
